An open and airy sound that is similar to condenser microphones due to
its wide frequency response. · A very tight super cardioid pickup
pattern combined with dynamic design lead to extreme ambient noise
rejection. · Higher output than almost all dynamic microphones allows
lower preamp gain settings which leads to less noise from the preamp. ·
Full sounding bass response combined with high proximity effect
resulting from the super cardioid pickup pattern make it ideal for
broadcasting applications. Field and Studio testing Spectrum has been
field and studio tested before its release longer than any mic released
by KAM Instruments; for almost 2 years ! A number of our artists who
wanted its unique features have used it for live shows and studio
recordings aside from our internal testing and this has been a key
factor in refinements.
